Need stand alone Mac blogger app.

I would really like to start this blogging thing a bit more. So much happens in my life, I'd like to write about it to remember it a bit better. I've got the app for my iPhone - so it's just something I need to do. One of the reasons I purchased this MacBook Air is to be able to do a bit more blogging.

Unfortunately, there are times when there isn't any internet access -- no wifi. I need a stand alone Mac blogger app that will allow me to write without being connected to the internet. Then, when I get reconnected to the internet, I can "upload" my blog posts.

Seems like I will have to look into this more. The offerings in the Mac App Store are total crap.

Title field, too!

So I can add a title field, too. Ok, the widget is pretty handy. I need to check this out a little more.

EDIT -- more strange characters. Not sure why. Sort of a pain in the butt. Might have to uninstall that dashboard widget.

Unfortunately, Apple has all but stopped supporting dashboard widgets and they are all but dried up. I think the blogger widget is from line 2008.
So this is not an ideal solution.
I would like to find a Mac app for blogging.
Something that will allow me to prepare blog posts offline (while not connected to the internet) and then I can upload them or sync them with blogger once I get online.
Hmm.
Not sure why it did it again.
Does it not like the automatic formatting that comes when I don't press return?
For some reason my last blog posted with a bunch of strange characters. Perhaps the Mac widget is outdated / expired.
Sweet - I can now post blogs from my Mac's dashboard. Pretty handy.
Test blog post.
